The MozziByte board has arrived and works ! This third version is the culmination of a year of designing, prototyping and testing in collaboration with Tim Barrass, inventor of the Mozzi synth for Arduino.
The MozziByte is a shield for an Arduino Mini that includes a digital audio amplifier, phono socket, speaker pins, battery connector, power switch and breadboard for attaching sensors, knobs, switches and other interfaces.
The idea is to allow designers, artists and students to easily explore ideas and rapidly prototype with minimal electronics or soldering required.
You can make wearable sonifications, interactive sound installations, DIY custom boutique synthesisers, auditory interfaces, and anything else your sonic mind can come up with.
