Some of my 3D printed acoustic objects have been curated by Matthew Connell for the Out of Hand: Materialising the Digital exhibition running from 3 September 2016 – Sunday 25 June, 2017 at the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences in Sydney.
The included works are the Shape of the Sound series, the Tuning Fork and Variations, and the Hypertension and Chemo Singing Bowls.
Out of Hand: Materialising the Digital explores the increasingly important role of digital manufacture in contemporary art, science, design and architecture. The exhibition features works by more than 60 artists, designers and architects from around the world including Barry X Ball, Zaha Hadid, Iris van Herpen and Ron Arad, as well as works from Australia and the Asia-Pacific, and objects from the MAAS collection.
