Audio-Only Film festival

This year we premiere six stories of life in Canberra and the South Coast region, by local Indigenous author Barry Cooper, whose writings have been selected for The Best Australian Stories 2006 and 2007.

Six of Barry’s stories were adapted and produced as Audio-only Films (i.e. audio stories using surround film sound techniques) by students in Sound Design and Production at the Uni of Canberra in 2010.

The Golden Ponytails are an award for these Audio-only Films, based on “the Man with the Golden Ponytail” in one of Barry’s Stories.
